My Thoughts on Bugs

One thing that most people don't realize is that EVERYONE, whether you're short or tall, friendly or mean, from the one side of the Pacific Ocean or the other, etc. All of us have taken a life. And some of us have ended tens, hundreds, or THOUSANDS, of lives. These murders happen right in front of our eyes, and none of us bat an eye. You know why? Because all of this death occurs to one particularly controversial class of creatures, one known for being creepy and crawly, bugs.  Now, lots of people have repulsing feelings towards insects, but most people, ESPECIALLY those of you who live in place with warm climates, can agree that mosquitoes are. the. absolute. WORST . I hate everything about these annoying as butt creatures.   They're really tiny, which is good because I can't see their details well enough to be creeped out by them, but also mean that you can't see them unless you constantly inspect your legs to make sure there isn't any tiny vampires feasting ...

I'm Going Back To School (And Why I'm Nervous About That)

So in about a months time, me, along with every other 5th grader, will be going into middle school. And I, feel very nervous about it. Not just because I'm going back to a school full of children that are too young to be vaccinated (such as me), but also because of the new things I'll have to adjust to.  I'll start with trying to adjust to the new things in middle school. Now, I'll try to make this short, since I've already talked about this in my last blog, but i'm nervous for a lot of things that will arrive and change from the transition from Elementary to Middle school. Firstly, I'm nervous that I'd get lost in my new middle school. I've gotten lost in my Elementary school before when a new school year started and didn't know where my class was, so a whole new school with many, many classes sounds WAY more easy to get lost in. It would also contribute to me getting late way more often, since a big vast school that I could get lost in where I ...

Cycling Adventures

Alright, so recently I've started getting back in to cycling. Back when there wasn't a worldwide pandemic forcing the world to stay quarantined, I had dipped my toes into the world of cycling, but I wasn't really experienced in it, so I only went on one static loop around the neighborhood. I would cycle on the sidewalk up until I reached the house with the purple flowers. Then I would look both ways before crossing the street to the other side. (I don't get why some people don't do that, it takes like, no effort and could be life saving, but I guess that's just stupid people being stupid.) Then I would follow the path until we arrived at the house opposite our house. Then, I would stop, look both ways, and then cross the street once more to go back to my house.   But this year, I got bored of just practicing in that one loop, so one time I was a little adventurous and went further on, and my mother got worried about me taking a while to get back. She then foun...

Stories I Wrote For School: Story 1-Parading Around

Image
Alright, here we go. As you can see in the title, this is the first of five stories I wrote for school. Now, my teachers assigned me and my classmates some homework to do after school hours, and because of quarantine, because of the COVID-19 virus, which I have mentioned in a previous blog ( Headaches and Outbreaks on a Lunar New Year) they had to send the homework through google slides. And, for writing practice after the Writing FSA, a big writing test taken at the end of the school year, my reading teacher assigned me and my class an activity where we would look at a picture, and write a story based off of it. Now for this first story, we had to write a story based on this image below: Problem is, I could think of anything to write based of off this, so I asked my father and he was able to come up with the idea that they were a bunch of parents and young children cheering their older siblings on in some kind of parade. So I took the idea, and wrote the story below. I'll be patc...

Last Day of School

Today, Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 was the last day of Elementary School for me and all of the other 5th graders in my school. So, how did the day go? Well, I started off by waking up, eating breakfast, getting dressed, you know, just a normal morning routine. Then after I was dropped off at school, my last day of Elementary School had officially started. Firstly we watched the morning announcements. There wasn't anything special broadcasted, just your typical school news broadcast with some comments about the end of the school year.   Then, after the broadcast, we used the time normally used for EARTH, (-which is basically just extra classtime where gifted and non-gifted students are sorted into classrooms and learn some more stuff.) to play board games that my classmates brought to school. I played this fun game called Avocado Smash where you give each player an equal number of cards. Then, each player takes turns placing them down. You count out the number of cards you...

Glowing Light - Part 1

It was a rainy day outside. The droplets of water raced down the window of the house's living room, making a pitter patter as they touched the windowsill. Pictures lined the walls of the room, although they weren't looked at. And a mother was sitting on a comfy little chair, telling her child, Mina, about a world of light and wonder, a world of prosperity. Clutching her stuffed bunny tightly, Mina listened in joy to her mother's reading.  All of a sudden, she collapsed onto the ground, unconscious. The child panicked, grabbing their mother and quickly calling 911. The clock ticked by. The ten minutes passing by felt like ten years. She looked at the photos on the wall. She saw her, her mother, and... her father. He had died three years ago in a car accident, and the sight of his mangled body was one she had forced out of her mind. Now, here the memories were all rushing back, breaking open the dam she had built so she would never have to feel that feeling, that feeling...

Weird Visions (not part of my story)

So I have this weird power where if I put my eyes against my arm and put it on some kind of surface I see weird visions that last until I take my eyes off of my arms. My imagination still works in her and I can still imagine images while these visions take place its just that my brain just creates these visions for me. Most of the dreams feature some bright light in the center and red and green pixels all around. Aft these visions my eyesight gets blurry for the next few minutes. Below this I'll feature the visions I've experienced but definitely not all of them because I definitely can't remember all of them. 1. Squares and rectangles in different shades of grey orbited around the is white glowy center. At some point the vision transitioned and instead of squares and rectangles, words in different fonts in the same shades of grey were orbiting around the same glowy center. I ended it there. 2. A marble pond shaped like a duck like creature appeared. This duck like creatur...
