A 2021 Birthday

 Birthdays. They are almost always one of the most cherished days for a person in every year, and for me, that was no different. However, I was nervous that this year's birthday would be an exception. Not only was last year's birthday really fun and would be hard to surpass, but my mom's birthday this year ended up a catastrophe. It ended up turning out.... pretty good.    Most of the day went like any other, like most of our birthdays.  It was all just the same old things we'd do on a normal day. However, it was when the clock ticked to 9:00, the magic started to happen. I went downstairs and saw a cake and some assorted presents. We got ourselves changed and sat down, and got our photos taken. Then, it was time for the party.  The happy birthday celebration went as usual, but after that, it was time for the presents.    First off, there was the birthday card. Procrastination

 Procrastination. It's something that everybody deals with at one point or another, and it absolutely sucks. However, I didn't have big problems with procrastination until fairly recently, because before then, all of the homework I needed to do was just one or two pages of math problems which I could do in about 10 minutes. But when I entered 5th grade, there was a sudden surge of things I had to do after school, and procrastination reared its ugly head right through the door.   It turns out that I get distracted, very, very, easily when I do any piece of work that takes too much time. One minute I'm doing homework and the next I'm having thoughts about being kidnapped and murdered because I watched something that I shouldn't have and now I'm scared. Point is, I kept on getting distracted and having to rush at the end of the week to finish my work.  So, of course I wanted to find a way to stop procrastinating, but when I asked my parents for help on how to deal
