Glowing Light - Part 1

   It was a rainy day outside. The droplets of water raced down the window of the house's living room, making a pitter patter as they touched the windowsill. Pictures lined the walls of the room, although they weren't looked at. And a mother was sitting on a comfy little chair, telling her child, Mina, about a world of light and wonder, a world of prosperity. Clutching her stuffed bunny tightly, Mina listened in joy to her mother's reading.  All of a sudden, she collapsed onto the ground, unconscious. The child panicked, grabbing their mother and quickly calling 911. The clock ticked by. The ten minutes passing by felt like ten years. She looked at the photos on the wall. She saw her, her mother, and... her father. He had died three years ago in a car accident, and the sight of his mangled body was one she had forced out of her mind.
