Adventure Awaits!

  Azure saw the twisted look of confusion on the strangers face and felt confusion of is own rise manifest onto his expression. Why was she so confused by this basic conversation? Most of the creatures in the recovery center would just nod and walk back to their homes but this one, this one looked like she saw something impossible happen. The ghost cat opened her mouth (at least he thought they were a girl) and said "Who, no what are you?" Azure replied "My name is Azure and I'm a jackalope, you?" She took a long time to respond before finally saying "My name is Amina and i'm a two tailed cat. The next few minutes just comprised of the two creatures thinking about how to continue the conversation before Azure finally broke the ice by saying "Hey do you want to join the adventuring guild?". The cat replied why can't you just join it yourself?" Azure replied "Well, the guild requires creatures to be in groups of at least 2. All of the people in town either already have their own independent groups or are uninterested in joining the guild." The albino cat thought for a few seconds before she replied "Alright, i'll join the guild with you." From there Azure made sure she could stand before the two of them walked over to the guild and registered their group. "What do you want to call your group?" Sauru said. Azure and Amina pondered what they should call themselves. All of the options scrolled down an imaginary conveyor, each one incinerated before finally being narrowed down to one option. The two of them independently decided on one option. "Team Soulbond"
the two of them said in unison.  Sauru stamped the application form and said "Alright, you're in." The duo opened the door and found a whole horde of creatures sitting in the common room. Team Cheer the perpetually positive team that almost always had a smile on their face, Team Saviour a team that is more focused on saving the victims of the monsters rather than defeating their captors,
Team Wave a team focused on water rescues, so on, so on. However most of the spotlight was shined on Team Prevail the first team ever created and by far the most successful the team consisted of Xavier the Soul Deer, Rattle the Tentatune
Shockwave the Plasma Dragon, Commodore the Beakblaster and finally Skysoar the Beatblaster. Anima and Azure were sitting on the couch relaxing before they heard the sound of a door opening as Team Prevail walked through the door. All of the creatures in the room freaked out as a person would if a celebrity just waltzed into the room where you were sitting. After greeting and pushing through the crowds of creatures stuck to the team like glue, the entire team started walking towards Anima and Azure.

 Today is the first day of Chinese New Year and I want to talk about it. So every Chinese New Year my mom bakes different Chinese snacks, such as a type of Chinese chip like things (I don't know there ingredients),dried seaweed surrounded by a crunchy thing, pineapple cookies, and some more, but my personal favorite is her peanut cookies. (which I actually know the ingredients of as you'll see later) A few weeks ago I helped my mom with these cookies. We would shape a mixture of peanut and oil into a ball, use this thingie to put a hole in it for the peanut to go in, then use this egg mixture to spread around the hole to make the peanut stick, and then it is baked. (don't use this as an actual recipe, because if anyone is using this blog post made by a random 9 year old on the internet that I recalled from memory as a recipe, then I've lost all hope for humanity). Our Nightmare Trip to New York

 So I've been gone for a while. Partly because I've been away on a vacation to Malaysia for 2 months, and partly out of sheer laziness. The trip to Malaysia is worth a few blogs of it's own, but what I wanted to talk about was the nightmare that happened while we were trying to go home. Now, the trip to Malaysia was already unpleasant, what with one plane smelling of piss and me and my family trying (and failing) to sleep, and me vomiting on another, so by the time we made it we were already dreading the flight home. But the trip home managed to be EVEN WORSE.  It started off small, but annoying, with some guy at the Qatar Airport giving us wrong information and forcing us to go through airport security again . And while the flight itself wasn't too bad, the hassle crept back in after the flight when they didn't tag our luggage properly and forced us to carry them around in this big metal cart.  Then, we had to wait in several hour-long lines before we could wait

Song of the Shell - Prologue

     I can't remember much about my childhood. Whenever my family brings up the foods we ate, the sights we saw, or the people we met back then, my mind draws a blank. But there is one memory I remember in vivid detail, one which I could never forget no matter what,      You may have heard of the rumor that if you put a seashell up to your ear, you can hear the ocean inside of it. I had too, so when me and my family went to the beach when I was 6, I dug my way through the sand until I found one, gleaming and glistening in the summer sun.      Then, I  held it up to my ear and was awestruck by what I heard. What started out as the simple, yet relaxing sound of tides on a beach. But soon, the sound warped into a ballad of voices, singing like a stream of pure water. It was sorrowful, but enchanting, I couldn't take my ears off of it. I could've sat in the sand, indulging in the hypnotic song, forever. But soon, the sun set, and I had to return to the monotony of daily life.
